Providing Sydney & Newcastle with Impartial Point of View for Heritage Building Expert Witness Statements

Unfortunately, there are times when you and your builder may not agree about the work carried out on your Sydney or Newcastle heritage building and whether it meets your brief.

In some circumstances, when a dispute with a builder cannot be resolved amicably or with the assistance of NSW Fair Trading, the matter can be heard by the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT). In that case you may require a report from an Expert Witness to assist the Tribunal in coming to a fair conclusion. This Expert Witness must comply with Civil Procedure Rules and present an independent and unbiased report based on his/her areas of expertise, experience and knowledge. It must be impartial so the Witness cannot accept payments or any form of remuneration that could compromise the nature of the evidence or influence the outcome.
